This is a full-time, year-round position with a unique rotating schedule due to a custody arrangement. ABOUT THE POSITION

Location: Bethesda, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

- "On" weeks (when children are present): 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

- "Off" weeks (no children): Flexible hours for household management tasks

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience; includes paid holidays, vacation, and sick time

NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES (ON WEEKS)

- Provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for both children

- School drop-off and pick-up (must have reliable transportation)

- Plan fun, age-appropriate activities, including outdoor play and educational games

- Prepare healthy meals and snacks

- Keep children’s areas tidy and organized

- Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents

HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (OFF WEEKS)

- Family laundry and linen management

- Light housekeeping (kitchen, tidying, organizing)

- Grocery shopping and meal prep

- Scheduling and supervising household vendors or maintenance appointments

- Errands (dry cleaning, post office, etc.)

- General organization (closets, pantry, kids' school supplies)

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE

- Kind, energetic, and dependable

- Organized and proactive

- Experienced with children in the 3–7 age range

- Trustworthy, with excellent references and a clean background check

- A good communicator and collaborator with parents

- Comfortable with a dynamic schedule

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Authorized to work in the U.S.

- Non-smoker
