Since she's only in our home three days/wk, she's looking to help another family part-time (ideally on Thursdays and Fridays each week, but the days could be flexible). She lives in outer Silver Spring, but is able to commute around the DMV by metro/bus/scooter for now and is hoping to buy a car soon.

Emily is originally from Brazil, but her conversational English is quite strong after spending two years as an au pair in San Francisco, CA, and Towson, MD, respectively. My wife and I speak no Portuguese and we've had no problem communicating with Emily in English.

After just a few short weeks, our daughter absolutely loves dancing, playing, and doing arts & crafts with Emily. And my wife and I fully trust Emily to keep our kids safe, engaged, and supported in their ongoing physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
