My MB is really starting to annoy me, I’ve been with them for a couple years and she’s very nice. However, here’s my problem with her. Every time I ask her do do something for her child, she just won’t do it. Simply things like her music app just stopped working because she needs to log in again, and her child loves to listen to the music , I’ve been asking for almost 3 weeks for her to log in, and even offering logging in myself, it just won’t happen. Another example is at the beginning of the summer we went to her friends house and the children there had scooters. I asked her if she would mind buying one for her child because he loves it, and since the summer is here, it gives us something to do. Each time I ask her to buy something for her child, she keeps telling me that the child needs to wait to Christmas?!?!?! It’s June! I understand sometimes some people buy bikes as gifts for Christmas. Any other things she just won’t buy, like a swim vest, crafts or whatever it is. I’m only asking for things that I know her child will enjoy. She also doesn’t do certain things for me, that benefit the safety of her child as well. Sometimes she says I will buy it I will get it I will do it… for weeks… and NEVER follows through! I’m really starting to get annoyed, and don’t know how to handle this situation. I’ve never seen something like this. In my mind, any mother that cares about her child and is happy that her nanny wants to provide things for her child to benefit them, I would think most mothers would just take the iPad and just log into that app…. It takes 5 seconds…. There are many other small things like that…. How should I proceed with this? Just stop asking for things? Does she not care? Am I annoying her? Is she lying? Or does she just not give a ….????? Again, I’m asking for small things for her child, like a craft for Halloween, to log into an app, buy a swim vest for the pool, change a couple things to make the home safer for the child…. And I’m only asking for. Few things, not constantly and nothing that’s super expensive….
It's not unreasonable to wait till Christmas. Use what you have. A scooter is a big gift in some families. Why do they need a swim vest? The music stuff is petty. Turn on the radio.
