I have found the total employer tax burden to be a bit under 10% - maybe 8.5 or 9% across the year (I think you hit social security or medicare max contributions at some point in the year), but no big difference. Worker's comp across the line in MD has been about 600 per year and payroll through SurePayroll is about 45/month. [/quote]
