We phone interviewed about ten candidates and had two come for paid trials. 
One is excellent but she has a morning job so she’s only available in the afternoons which isn’t great for us as the kids get home in the afternoon and it’s chaotic enough already. she speaks English and she has 20 years of experience. 
The other is very sweet but has much less experience and less English. She’s been helping me this week and she’s really trying though if I wasn’t home I’m not sure how she’d be doing as she asks so many questions. I had written everything down for her but because it’s a new role she’s definitely having a hard time finding her stride. Although I know it’s more challenging this week as we’re all at home and coming and going so much.

WWYD? Hire the more experienced candidate with the less than ideal schedule or give the less experienced one more time?[/quote]
