Live-in is for the convenience of the family, not for the nanny. Like there is a minor pro as to not paying rent, but if you lower the rate due to being a live-in, they are technically paying towards rent. I don't know anyone that would choose to rent a room in a house with kids/a family that they will see every day for work when they could live literally anywhere else.[/quote]
