Wow.  Another nanny here.  I'm really sorry for what happened to you aswell.  Your case and story were even worse that OP.  This never have happened to me but to some friends of mine.  When they decided to quit, they gave them 2 weeks or even 1 month of notice; to part ways in a nice way;  those families did exactly what you are describing to them. Their employers just kick them out of the door telling them that they have someone already; in just one day, which of course it was a total lie or if they really found someone in less than a week they have told them that they didn't need to finish her weeks and they didn't need them anymore to come next day.  When they told me how the families treated them I almost cried next to them. [/quote]
