In addition, we'll also be giving her a picture of the children, a heartfelt note from me and DH thanking her for all she's done, treating her to lunch out tomorrow, and then pictures the kids drew. Does this all sound like a good parting gift? I wish we could do more--she's been such an amazing part of our lives, but financially things are a bit tight right now so the even the five weeks pay will be a lot and doesn't leave room for other gifts. We already provided her with an excellent reference and she has another job lined up.
