NIE Au pairs should only be allowed to rematch with NIE families. [/quote] That is how APIA was working for a long time during the pandemic. If you weren't in rematch, you couldn't see a rematch aupair. So there wasn't a way that an extension family could match with a rematching aupair. We are an NIE family and had no issues with our aupair arriving and staying with our family. I could see how it could work out otherwise. NIE families aren't necessarily the "easiest" because we have a reason for being in that category to begin with.[/quote]
