If it were a weekend job, I think it would be different. A nanny is not going to take a 25 hour a week job during the week if she can get a 40 hour job during the week. Hence, you have to pay more to make the 25 hour week attractive and retain her. I think it is like this in other jobs too unless they don’t care about the turnover. [/quote]
