The paid leave is under the FFCRA and didn’t it expire Jan 1st?

I know for last year, you can get any sick leave paid out due to COVID reimbursed on your taxes. I’m in VA though and paid out leave in 2020 while the FFCRA was in effect, so if there is something more DC-specific, I am not sure.[/quote]

A quick google search shows me that the tax credit for providing paid leave (up to 2 weeks) has been extended through March 31. So it’s now no longer required to pay out sick leave, but you will get a tax credit for the amount you pay out, so you may as well pay her since it shouldn’t cost you*

*I have no filed taxes yet so this is just my belief how the credit will work.
