I'm not sure what it looks like from the family side. I assumed that was Care.com checking families, but it there is a toggle option then perhaps they don't check at all.

I do think Care.com some some type of minimal checks on families because I occasionally get notices that the job I applied for or someone who contacted me is no longer a member of care.com community and to be careful about corresponding with them (if you've already exchanged contact info). That’s because they were reported for fraud, phishing or harassment.  Other caregivers reported them, or care found out that they posted contact information in a free profile.[/quote]
