By August/September there is no guarantee she’ll be able to come back or that her visa extension will be accepted. Well, she wants to go home and see her family. The original plan was to go home in April for a visit (ticket credited as a voucher), and then go in August. So, we will need to make sure that she can go home for a visit. The vaccine is a good 18-24 months away, so it cannot be that there will be no international travel during the wait for a vaccine...[/quote]

The problem isn’t that there won’t be any international travel. It’s that their might be restrictions regarding who can come into the US.  As a US citizen you will always be allowed back, it’s not always the case of APs and might well not be the case if she comes from a country with high death toll. [/quote]

Her country had about 15k infected, 200 deaths, so if anything, they would be worried about her coming from the US...[/quote]
