Jan 1 the MA minimum wage goes up to 12.75, there is a lot of OT in there and all the rules with taxes and all. IMO if I lived in MA and needed FT childcare, this AP program would not be worth the hassle and expense.  Because lets be realistic, if a foreign worker is coming to your home, you will still need to supply a car and housing and such.  The costs very quickly start approaching nanny prices for essentially babysitter product. Then when you tack on agency fees, FORGET IT. Total waste of money.

What is CCAP communicating to MA families? are they giving them an easy out? Just bracing ourselves for an AP meltdown here in Virginia if this family pulls out.
