So you get the holiday off, and then if you want additional time off around the holiday, you use your PTO. Only in nanny-land, is the idea present that you should get “Christmas week” and the day-after-Thanksgiving as paid days off, in addition to PTO. Great if you can negotiate it, but generally not the way the world works.[/quote]
