All domestic employees are HOURLY EMPLOYEES. THIS IS FEDERAL LAW!
Yes, but OP hasn't made it clear whether the housekeeper is an employee or a contractor. Cleaning services are rarely structured as employment
What is it that you don't understand about domestic emoyees cannot be contractors? They are hourlyve ployees so cheap people can't cheat them. OP, I pay $25/hr for a maid.
Domestic employees cannot be contractors. But contractors can perform domestic work. Surely you've heard about the large "home cleaning" industry? Don't be daft.
Then the house cleaner is employee of a other company and d is paid HOURLY. You are obtuse!
Please reference my reply at 14.43 and this link: https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-ss-8 According to the IRS definition, a nanny is an employee. NCS may be a contractor, if they bring their own things and can designate someone else to fill in, especially since it’s short-term. A housekeeper/housecleaner can usually designate someone else, move hours/days, especially if they bring their own equipment.
