Put cameras over the areas the children will be in most: bedrooms, playroom, living room, maybe kitchen.  One per room is plenty.  If you truly think your nanny is going to be sneaking your kid into the foyer to beat them then you need a different vetting process.  The point of cameras should be for you to have a way to check in on your kid to make yourself feel better and for you to have an overview of their day.

The only reason to have camera coverage over the entire house is if you feel that you need to micromanage every moment of your child’s day (in which case you are not a good candidate for nanny care) or if you are worried that your nanny with rob you or abuse the children (in which case you either need to improve your hiring process or you are just a suspicious person and therefore not a good candidate for nanny care).[/quote]
