I do not care what they pick, but if they choose to go home or travel, they do not get paid for that time, and we tell the agency their last working date and end their contract as of that date.  We do obviously lose the agency fee for those weeks.  If they stay and "work" during that time, we obviously pay them.  It's entirely their choice what they want to do.

As long as you offer it this way, I think it's totally fine.  Several of our APs have had friends who were traveling in mid-July and they were perfectly happy to go travel with them and then come back to our house at the end of summer for their final goodbye party and to get their things and head home.[/quote]
