The first choice is always for a parent to take a child, of course, but knowing that we're set up for the nanny to be able to handle emergencies or illness is critical - so we very intentionally include her.

We've had 2 nannies for our kids and they have both wanted to be included for the visits, for all of the reasons above and also just as part of their overall care and concern for our kids.[/quote]
