Wow!! I am just stunned that your Nanny is actually “excited” to care for two add’l babies in addition to the two she already cares for. Caring for infants is HARD. x 2. Impossible. Because newborns are hugely demanding. They need to be fed (on demand) multiple times a day, have their diapers changed almost every hour plus they cry a ton. And most of them are often horrible daytime nappers. :( When if both babies are screaming to be fed, or changed or they just want to be held?? How can the Nanny meet their needs? In all honesty, I would hire another Nanny & do a share w/your best friend w/her. Trust me on this. This is the best option available.
All of her experience is with multiple kids she use to run a daycare clasd with 8 children and every nanny family she's worked for has had at least 3 to 4 kids in the mix including bringing her own child with her . She has over 15 years experience and has a passion for what she does so we just want to make sure we compensate her appropriately and that she knows she's appreciated. Great childcare is hard to find. She taught our kids sign language by the age of 8 months so we value her alot.
