[quote=Anonymous]Dear families, Thank you for taking the time out to read my posting. My name is Chelsea and I have been in the childcare field for 7 years. I have cared for many children, ranging from a variety of ages (infancy - pre-teen). However, the majority of my experience comes from working with infants - school aged children. As a nanny, I’ve enjoyed the vast majority of my career: changing diapers, reaching milestones, creating sensory and motor skill activities, and also occasionally talking a toddler down from jumping off the 3rd floor! I have completed my A.A. in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently working towards my Bachelors in ECE. I’ve attended many workshops and seminars on child development, I am First Aide and CPR certified (comes in handy once infants start transitioning to solids and decide to swallow too much rice cereal) and I am also Doula certified (just in case you decide you want your nanny to be your emotional support during your next pregnancy). Beyond my professional and academic experience, parents have told me that I bring a calming presence to their home. I am great at organizing, planning play dates, creating age appropriate activities, keeping things in order, and calming your toddlers down after their 3 hour tantrums. Children love me, parents love me, and I love my career as a nanny. I am looking for a full-time position with a family that is open, honest, loving, and professional. A family that understands nannies aren’t perfect, but recognizes the importance of the nanny role. A family that allows their nanny to have free-range over her day, and trusts their nanny to always make the best decisions for their children. If you’ve gotten this far, and you’re interested in talking further, please contact me. I will send my CV and my resume through email. Thank you again!
