Oh my gosh both my nanny moms are pregnant as well and they both want to short chamge me and its annoying because in daycare they don't give you discounts. I did research and you definitely pay between 800 to 1000 a week for 2 kids per family  so each house should definitely pay 800 to 1000 to keep their nanny happy and stop trying to be cheap[/quote]

That’s what I said!! I’m really disappointed in them for this. And in daycare it’s mulitple caregivers in one room so why do you think you get to pay me less? I don’t get all holidays off (not that that’s a problem), only 12 PTO per calendar year, no healthcare, no OT- so it’s literally a flat rate you’re paying, so at least you can do is pay me!!

4 kids is a lot and I will have them all day. I am definitely ok with this arrangement because I’ve always worked with multiples, alone, but I am not happy with how they really think basically, $600 is okay for 1 infant and 1 toddler.; especially in their area. I told them I hope we can reach an agreement but unfortunately, I will not back down and if we don’t have a number on the table by the end of the month, I will be parting ways

Pp, stick to your guns!! I’m sure you’re awesome and their children love you and at this age, you don’t want a new nanny to start with your toddler, especially when changes are already happening w/ a new sibling on the way. If more nannies stick up for themselves this recurring issue that happens all over with this nanny-share crap, will hopefully end. [/quote]
