Op here. If she doesn’t want to work weekends then she should say so. I asked her if she was willing to do it and she said yes. I know she might not like it but she should’ve said no when  I asked her. [/quote]

She was trying to be accommodating to you.   You said in an earlier post that you know it will be hard to find someone short term with just two weeks notice.   
An increased rate for weekends is definitely fair--most of her friends and family probably have weekends off, so she will be missing out on time with them.  Most "fun" things (parties, festivals, etc.) are scheduled on weekends.[/quote]
