Their totals won’t be yours.  Run a budget with the home the and low end, using the numbers of hours you work and commute.  Make sure to budget for OT if needed.  Add 7% (about that) for employer taxes.  That’s the minimum.  Now, think about what you would do for vacation, sick days, weather emergencies and federal holidays (if you don’t have them off and nanny wants them off).  Think about whether you would want to host (higher utilities, more wear/tear on toys and books) vs. not host (added commute to other family’s home, extra supplies required at their home).  Think about how much you can spend up front for a new car seat, half of a double stroller, any baby furniture, etc.

Some families do taxes themselves.  Some use a free online tax calculator to print the pay stub.  Some use a partial service, and others use full service.  It can range from nothing to over $500 per year.
