I don't receive Veteran's, MLK or Columbus Day. So yes, any paid federal holidays (or holiday's in my contract) that fall on a weekend, I should receive the day off the following weekday (i.e. if on a Saturday, I have Friday off or if fall on a Sunday, I should have Monday off)? I realized one of my holiday's last year was on a weekend and I still worked the following weekday- I don't plan on asking to be paid but moving forward, I want to make sure everyone is on the same page, now that I am working full-time.
