The baby will never take the bottle from the mother at first. It should only take a few times and is easier if the baby has accepted a pacifier. If not, remain patient and calm and just keep trying when the mother is out of the house. Eventually during the hours around a feeding, the baby will take the bottle. Start before the baby is hungry. Make sure the breast milk is body temperature (98.6). Put some of the warm milk on the baby's lips. [/quote]
