It's been 6 months and I've decided not to have a home daycare. I told the mom yesterday I am only interested in taking care of one other child. Honestly I've decided not to do childcare anymore. ALL of the parents I've spoken with want to pay per day and most of these jobs are nanny positions. I would be required to go to the families home. Nannies in dc want $30 an hour and in Georgia it's been impossible to receive a rate higher than $2 per hour. It's absurd. Somehow because I have my child with me they think it's ok to pay very low.
