A toddler has no idea what Work is, only that mommy or daddy is teasing them with their presence and then ignoring them. Doesn’t matter how much kiddo loves the nanny, they want their parents. It just strikes me as the meanest thing ever. Do they do it to feel important? Do they like knowing their kid is crying for them over and over? Do they like making nanny the bad guy? Ugh.
