The only agency I know that has Israeli au pairs is APIA. However Israeli au pairs have bad track record in terms of rematch My family is observant Jewish and we have been with a bunch of agencies and I pay attention to that. We have been hosting over ten years and I have never seen any other Hebrew speaking au pairs, except right now there is an available candidate from Mexico on the GoAuPair site that lists Hebrew as one of her languages. I am not in matching now so cannot see her full profile but I think she may be Jewish.
Can you expand upon the "bad track record" comment? Do they get homesick and leave early? Have trouble acclimating and request rematch? We are semi-observant Israeli/American family - but will provide in-law suite with kosher kitchen for au pair and probably not require any hours from Friday late morning through Sunday morning/holidays. so the level of observance of the au pair is not a great concern to us.
When I was with APIA the local coordinator said they often go into rematch and I thought it meant families are not too happy with them, or they may have different expectations of their time here. When I was matching I spoke to a couple and they were very choosy. One specifically didn't want a Jewish family. I knew one here, she was a friend of my party animal au pair at the time and was also a party animal. However I don't like stereotyping and think it all depends on an individual. This may inform your interviewing and what to look for.
