At this point, you should ask her for a sit down.  Explain that A) You are an hourly employee who must be paid for all work, B), you have currently been donating X time each week by working for free and you can no longer continue that (this will work best if you have actual records of what time she arrives for a few weeks prior)
C) Describe what you want: on days when you are not here by X time I am going to...drop the kids at grandma’s, take them home with me, etc.  Tell her that you will need to chargw your full rate for all time the children are with you.  If you are happy to adjust your work hours by 30 min but need to be paid for that time, tell her that.  If you don’t want to work past your wnd time, tell her that.
D) Start looking for a new job now, right away, because an employer who is late and doesn’t pay you doesn’t care much about you in any case.[/quote]
