[/quote] Not PP, but my husband asked me when we first hired a nanny if we were going to have to plan for a month's salary as bonus (common for domestic workers in his home country and we both work in high-bonus industries here). Not giving anything this high this year since this nanny has only been with us a few months, but I would certainly consider it for future years with excellent care. I don't know if a big bonus works better as an incentive than a raise, but it does line up better with how/when we are compensated.[/quote]
