I’m guessing in the nanny world, families can create whatever they want, and the prospective candidate either takes it or leave it. I can’t blame them 100% for not being informed of all they were offering because I should have asked about these things when I decided to stay and go full time but the benefits aren’t the only reason I’m thinking of leaving.

How many vacation days do “full time” nannies normally receive? Do parents just make up their own benefits (I get not having all holidays)? To inform you of my situation, I work 4 days but I have long days (total of 40 hrs per week). And although there’s a chance I will be leaving, I’m asking for future reference. I have learned a lot from this job so if I decide to peruse another nanny job, I will probably have a lot of questions on how the families handle certain situations.
