You must be one of those parents who are late everyday. You must also be a parent who takes advantage of their nanny. When you hire someone, you let them know that they are expected to work from 9-5 and fulfill XYZ duties. When they are late, I am not compensated! I get paid by the hour. You made a commitment to me, just like I made a commitment to you. How would you feel if your nanny arrive to work late everyday? I have been working with children for 12 years and I have EXCELLENT references. I love my charge and their parents. However, I have obligations as well. I am not being unreasonable and you  sound like a "dumbass!" Did I not mention that this has been an ongoing issue?! Late here and there is fine but when it's almost every week, UNACCEPTABLE! You changed the hours to prevent being late, but yet, you're still late! [/quote] You're an idiot. Either you're paid by the hour or you don't get compensated for when they're late. Which is it? Can't be both. Signed, the NANNY you quoted who gets paid by the HOUR meaning I get paid for every minute I work. [/quote]
