Do you seriously think she will suddenly care less for our child because her job is ending? All nanny jobs end. Not giving notice is just shitty - notice gives the nanny a change to wind down the relationship with your child, gather her things in an orderly fashion and say a proper good bye to your child. to OP - 4 wees notice is good.
