We've had this sitter for years. I never met her family but she is like family to us. We remember her birthday and we give her a big Christmas bonus. She I send her daughter something? Her other daughter is getting married, I wasn't invited... I wasn't planning on getting her daughter a gift... what would you do?
what's a sitter? A baby sitter? Like comes and watches the kids on date nights? And your adult baby sitter's adult daughter whom you have never met and who lives out of state is having a child and you don't know what to do? Well, if you love giving gifts give a gift! Might be better to give it to the sitter, or make it a thematic Xmas gift. And if you are too busy with other life priorities don't - no one in this situation would expect you to give a gift.
