Op you have got to be kidding me. Lol. I am a nanny and I find this very greedy and entitled. I wouldn't even be comfortable fixing my lips asking for a full weeks pay from a brand new job when I could only perform 2 days out of 5. Never mind your scheduled start date. And besides that any professional nanny knows that guaranteed pay is only honored when they family doesn't need you and they cancel a day. If you don't work due to personal reasons that is when PTO, sick days, vacation come into play. How would you feel if the MB told you that since you weren't able to come on Tuesday and Wednesday they would use your PTO for those days? Despite you not being scheduled to work until next week? But because you showed up Thursday they are counting this week and using your vacation time for the days you said no? Would that be fair? Your contract isnt signed, you didn't put in a full week due to YOUR previous commitments so really you should look at the days you did actually work as babysitting or trial days. The nerve lol
