I have a Master's Degree and I've worked in LA. $35-$40/hr is rare even for top nannies in LA. It's more common in the Bay Area where I am now, but still not common. The nannies who are making 6 figure salaries are usually working a ton of hours for that salary. I know several top nannies who are educated and have good jobs in LA and have one friend right now in LA making $35/hr in a traditional nanny position (Not Newborn Care Specialist or Doula). [/quote]
