I am a nanny and I have a different take on this. I think it is possible to find someone who would be a good match for your families needs. There are nannies looking for part time work for example nannies who are studying or taking on other projects. The summer schedule and pay are the only concern I see here. You may need to consider a different pay scale for the summer months with some full 40 hour weeks. In my case, I am currently taking care of two toddlers in a share situation and I am looking forward to taking on a part time job, after this position ends, for about one year. Good luck OP
Can you recommend anyone who might be interested in this? If not, your imagination is getting the best of you.
I'm a married nanny and this arrangement would be perfect for me. I have grown children and would love these easy hours. I could get done what I need to get done in the morning and not be harried at night. It is also appealing because of the amount of time I would get off paid. If I lived near Loudoun County, I'd even post my info.
So you know no one who might be interested. That's not very helpful.
