I'm overweight but I feel like even if I was thin, 78-82 in the summer is way too hot. Am I being unreasonable? I just want to know what's normal for other nannies. I feel like I can't be the nanny I want to be, when I am so hot. I don't want to run and dance and play with the kids or cook like I used to, because all that makes me even hotter. I'm not asking for 68 degrees, but a little a/c would be nice. Sometimes after an outing we just read in my car to get some relief with cool air. Why do parents do this? Saving a few dollars on the a/c, and now you have a nanny too hot to do her job properly.[/quote]
