Pardon my English. My ex MB moved to San Diego and hired a full-time nanny to care for her 4 months old baby girl. After abt a month or so her nanny start asking my ex MB with some dinero. ($$). Because this nanny is so nice, good with their baby etc they helped her. The nanny promise to pay them back by monthly salary deduction. Total amount all together is $1.5K. My ex MB is a full time students (PhD) and husband working full time. On the second month this nanny start coming late, start taking emergency leave etc. When this happened my ex MB cannot go to classes because she cant find any sitter that can come as soon as possible to her house. One day the nanny called and told them she can no longer working with them. Reason - need to cared for her ailing mother and asked my ex MB if she can get her pay for that month. When my ex MB asked the nanny how she plan to pay their money back, the nanny said she will pay her WHEN SHE HAVE THE MONEY. So my ex MB keep calling their nanny once or twice a week to get the money back and after so many times trying they call the nanny's husband. The nanny husband told my ex MB to stop harassing his wife! The husband said they will make a police report abt how my ex MB treat his wife etc etc. Since my ex-MB and husband is not a USA citizen - and still need to complete her study they had no choice but to stop chasing the money. What is them not being a US citizen got to do with anything? They should take her to court for their money. So watch out. Some nanny is very bad and know how to manipulate naïve parents.
