I work 48 hours a week, but my hours are split between two different employers, so I do not make any overtime. I am paid guaranteed hours, so my pay is the same all 52 weeks of the year. My gross income is $37,440. Nannies in more affluent areas who get $16+ per hour (I know rates of $20+/hr are not uncommon in DC), and who work 50 hours per week (again, very common), and make those 10 hours of overtime every week are definitely making 50k a year, no question.
