My iphones screen broke about 3 weeks ago while with my 3 year old charge. It was kind of frustrating though, because it WAS in my purse, but I had my purse over my shoulder, and when I bent down in the bathroom at the neighborhood park (which has a concrete floor) to help her pull down her shorts and get on the potty, it slipped right out of my purse and onto the floor and broke (not even just cracked, broke BROKE). I was especially frustrated because I actually bought my phone in the past six months for $300. I considered asking my NF to pay for my phone, since it happened on the job as I was trying to help my charge, but then I realized how silly that would be. It wasn't my charges fault, and it wasn't my NFs fault. If anything it was my fault for not having it in a sturdy otter case, and maybe even in a more secure purse (instead of a big tote). I did mention it to them, mostly just because they'd been texting me and wondered why I wasn't responding, and yeah, a small part of me hoped they'd offer to replace it, but they didn't, and it certainly wasn't their responsibility to.

Just suck it up, pay to fix it or buy a new one, get a sturdy case for it, and learn your lesson about putting it anywhere within reach of your charges!![/quote]
