Going back to work was incredibly challenging for me but my husband and I felt extremely fortunate to have our daughter accepted into an outstanding daycare. While we loved her caregivers and all the activities for our baby girl, she just would not sleep there. I was on the verge of leaving my job but we decided to search for a nanny and came across the post below. We contacted Selam and feel like it was fate that brought us together. As soon as we saw her interact with our now 9 month old daughter – who was going through a stranger danger phase at the time but took to Selam quickly – it was apparent how much Selam really cares about babies. In addition to being wonderful with my daughter, she helps cook her wholesome food and our house always looks neater than when we left. With Selam watching my LO I am able to go to work and not worry about a thing because I know my daughter is safe in excellent, loving hands. Selam also made sure she was quickly on a schedule for getting plenty of food, fresh air, movement, and sleep. We are all so much happier now!   
 
We are heart-broken that we are moving for work just when we finally found someone to care for our daughter who is like family. No matter where we go we know we will keep in touch with Selam because she has played such an important role at helping us during this transition. Selam is working with us full-time through June 26 but is available immediately after that. If you are interested in working with Selam and need care sooner we would be happy to come up with a nanny share arrangement in the interim. We love Selam and want to help her find a great family to work with because we would have her move with us if she could.

Good day!

Our former nanny who is truly amazing is available immediately. We transitioned to a live in nanny because my work travel schedule got hectic.

Selam watched our 13 month old son for 8 months, Monday-Friday (she is available on weekends as needed). Simply put - she's great. Selam is attentive, safe, animated, resourceful, very honest and loving with him. We consider her part of the family. She took care of all his needs and prepared his meals.

I would not have been able to confidently return to work after having my son if it weren't for Selam. When I left the house every morning, I was confident that he was getting the best while I'm gone. She went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable by doing things like sending me pictures and videos throughout the day.

A couple months ago, I had to have eye surgery and she jumped in to help me as I healed by coming early, staying later, making me soup and cleaning up around the house.

She has three darling daughters of her own therefore she has a lot of experience. She has a wealth of first-hand knowledge about babies and safety is always her #1 concern.

She has CPR and First Aid certifications. A major plus is that she drives!!!
