I agree with PP posters that it's worth feeling her out if she's still interested in reducing your hours or telling her that you have a few things that you need to take care of that you will need some time off for before you start your new job, but if you leave them having to scramble for childcare at all in the next week then you can be pretty certain that it will affect your relationship with them.[/quote]
