The family I work for gave me $200 when I started as cash to cover things when we were out so I would never feel awkward about buying something and having to ask for reimbursement or not having brought cash from the house with us. So since they basically "reimbursed" me up front I just keep general track on a sticky note on my fridge to make sure I stay under the $200 and don't start using my own money. Then also there is the cash envelope they keep for me at their house, this has about $100-$140 in $20s for anything we need. [/quote]
