Our nanny has NO DRAMA in her life.  She has been in the work force long enough to know how to keep her personal and work life separate.

And I know I am going to get flamed for this but the truth is that I feel better about DS bonding with an older woman.  I never feel that I am being replaced by our nanny probably due to the fact that most people assume she is his grandmother.

Again, all of this is my personal experience.  I am sure there are young nannies out there who are just as good and dedicated to their work.
