I was due to babysit last Friday evening and was to arrive at 5 o'clock. Well I stupidly forgot to plan ahead for traffic delays (I live on the West Coast) and showed up fifteen minutes late! I profusely apologized and they were totally cool about it, but I noticed when I arrived they were both sitting by the door and bolted almost immediately upon my arrival. I later learned they had dinner reservations which they fortunately made in time.

I apologized again when they got home and again, they brushed it off and I truly believed them. Again, I've had a perfect record with them as well as the family that referred me to them. Do you think that since it was a one time only thing they are over it as long as it doesn't happen again? Or do you think I ruined my chance of ever sitting for them again? By the way, I adore the kids and she tells me the kids adore me as well.[/quote]
