Sorry, but I have to respectfully [i]disagree[/i] with this.

I recently spent some money online checking out a nanny and she came up with some questionable things which when I asked her about them, she flat out denied them.

She seemed very honest about it and was also very upset that this stuff was online, so I opted to do a background check on myself as well and sure enough, there were some things online that could not have been me. My social security number matched the name, age and previous address locations to a "T," however it listed traffic infractions in cities listed I have never visited or heard of plus court and marriage records that have nothing to do with me.

I am furious that these online companies can steal our money by claiming to provide us with legit information on a person by submitting their social security number, then when we do so, they in return give us half ass information.

I say the only one hundred percent honest background check would be to go into your local police precinct with the potential nanny and ask to see any criminal records, if none exist, ask to see a sex offender record and do a fingerprint check.[/quote]
