This is all excellent advice.  This is how you do it professionally, and in a way that doesn't leave you in financial jeopardy.

"I'm very sorry but I am giving my two week notice.  I have found another position that I believe will be a better fit for me and I will be starting that job on X.  I will do my best to make this transition as smooth as possible for you in my remaining two weeks with Johnny."[/quote]
