Anyway, since you will work this week, I suggest you wait until you get your paycheck and make sure the check clears your bank FIRST (very important, trust me on this!!).

Then once you have secured your payment, send them a brief e-mail or text message letting them know you will not be returning due to the comment they made to you.

Let them know you have always been upfront and honest with them and have never done anything for them to think you are anything but. They had absolutely no right to accuse you of lying to them and it was unfair and uncalled for. You simply cannot work for a family who sees you in such a bad light due to no fault of their own.

There may be posters on here who will say I am being rash and unprofessional, but trust me....If you give the standard two week notice to them, you risk being let go immediately anyway or worse, working another week and then them not paying you your full wages.

Better to cut your losses once you are ahead.
